i gotta say, traveling with tom is pretty much aces.

he has to go to chicago for business in two weeks, and i am going too. i've never been to chicago.

(shit, note to self, ask for time off for trip. that i already have tickets for. oops)

we're going to drive to iowa too, to hang with his grandparents (whom i've never met)

tom is in healdsburg for a few days for work, and i went up with him yesterday and stayed last night. the plan was to have lunch yesterday then drive back, but when i saw the sweet-suite we were in, i HAD to stay. (holy supa deep soaking tub)
he has two more nights in the beautiful hotel healdsburg....wish i was there too. will post pics on flickr soon......

i've had some ideas lately about the wedding.
like, i want to walk down the aisle with my dad AND my mom. maybe to an instrumental version of sufjan steven's 'chicago' (speakofthedevil). that song was playing in the car when tom drove me to bart the day after* we met.....i later downloaded and listened to it on repeat for weeks....chills and daydreams.

(can you simultaneously play all those parts, jon?) (i jest)
