i *just ordered my wedding shoes

i chose these.

a very vegas surprise

tom and i went down to vegas thursday through saturday to surprise my friend kate from college. her friend christine accidently spilled the beans, booo, but it's ok. i have successfully planned surprise visits to see kate on two different occasions, so i can't get selfish.
we had a great time lounging at the pool, sipping cocktails (my two drink limit and no cigs practice were both temporarily postponed).....we saw cirque du soleil "zumanity" (billed as the "sensual side" of c.d.s.) there were lots of boobies and sexual jokes.....my favorites were the fishbowl girls. it was interesting to watch the average joe's of middle america freak out about anything h.e. (homoerotic)......that is, anything with male/male sexuality (two men actually got up and left when the m.c.-a tranny- started to approach them!) there was of course, lots of food, and lots of gambling, and i feel like i did a pretty good job of staying up fairly late!

it was sooooo good to see kate and mike!!! hooorayyy!!!!!

mystery vacation

tomorrow tom and i embark on a mini-vacation. we'll be back saturday. i can't tell* you where we're going (oo, so secretive!), but will blog about it upon our return!

i don't even WANT to blog cuz i feel poopy, and my LAST post was about feeling poopy, so instead i'll talk about when i didn't feel poopy which were a few times this weekend.
i did not feel poopy when:
-walking around the craft section of the maker faire
-dancing with the small kiddies
-laughing with tom and sam and bex in the car
-running into an ex (surprisingly just fine!)
-spending time with anj
-being in the sun and swimming on sunday with good peeps

and i am sad.
just got home from devil-ette rehearsal...i am feeling very small and unimportant.
i miss tom.
i think i'm emailing the devil-ettes yahoo group too much.
also, just got an evite from ryan and wendy which reminded me of how they didn't want me to dance for them, which then reminded me that no modern dance company wants me to dance for them right now. boo.
the crossword puzzle i'm doing is making me feel stupid.

not enough time

i miss my friends.
i got to hang out with some awesome friends of tommy's saturday, and reconnect with my old friend kat sunday.....but it feels like forever since i've seen the majority of my girlfriends!
i miss you's guys!

also,

did the sopranos not ROCK THE SOCKS last night?? holy moley. i was feeling despondent from watching it, which isn't a way i like to feel, but shows how invested i am in the characters. good writing, for sure. shit is going DOWN!

we did two numbers at an event for the academy of art at the supperclub (a pretty rad venue)
i was nerval....mainly afraid i would forget the choreography, but i felt great and had a * blast *.
i am so psyched to be a part of this!
