how was your halloween weekend?

saturday night parking was just evil, and the main party we were going to was broken up due to someone that may or may not have fallen or been pushed from a balcony. hmmm.

we arrived to find several police cars and an ambulance outside. we went in anyway, and i tell ya....i haven't seen such a big house party in a long time. i also haven't seen 14 year-old-boys drinkin forties in a long time either. it was a mixed crowd indeed.

all in all, it was super fun to get dressed up and see my friends, but everything else kinda sucked. plus, me and tom had our first fight. boo (and not the good kind of halloweeny "boo") the good news is that also meant our first time practicing how to work thru a decent sized conflict (or at least a bigger size than we'd ever worked on before)

sunday we checked out the movie theatre at the new mall. (that place is just so *nice*. the nordstroms side seems all janky in comparison). we saw "the departed" and i thought it was great. i squinted my eyes during the violence (yes, there was a lot), and was pleasantly surprised with pretty boys matt damon and leo decapitated (i mean dicaprio). my major complaint was the last image which takes an aspect of the story and points it out to you as if you were five years old. still, i lurved it.

almost happy halloween!

anybody need a home?

my friend anjali has a place to rent you!

she says:
"My tenant is moving out on December 1st from a beautiful 1-bedroom condo in Oakland that's a 5-minute walk to the Rockridge BART station, across the street from groceries, and has a pool, sauna, hot tub and a nice private deck.

It's also across the street from the hourly non-stop bus to San Francisco, and a 5-10 minute walk to both Piedmont Avenue and the Rockridge market. It's got a big bedroom, ample clothing closet space, and lots of light.

The rent is only $1100, with garage parking. 6 month lease minimum I think.

Anyhoo, if you know of anyone, please tell them to contact me!

Thanks!
Anjali"

thought of woz
we decided to ask tom's friend jason wozniak to be the officiant for our wedding. we visited woz and his wife in rio in february. (after knowing eachother for two months)
woz is a really spiritual, poetic dude, but also very down to earth.

p.s. why won't my pictures show up? if you click on the above and below rectangles, you can see what i meant to post. i am a blogger newbie :>/

p.p.s. never mind! jenni RULES!
